The ACME 2241 4 Blade Propeller is designed specifically for waterski and wakeboard boats to offer improved acceleration, speed holding pulling power and fuel economy.

ACME's 2241 4-Blade Propeller offers more surface area than comparable 4-Blade propellers which means better power transmission, speed holding, and higher fuel economy. And thanks to the precision machined manufacturing process, ACME propellers offer more precision, which means every prop will perform up to standards the moment you pull it out of the box.

Replace the factory propeller that came on your boat with a high performance version that is better suited to your needs and gain the security of a spare prop along with serious performance upgrade.

Prop Finder

Prop Finder

Finding the right prop for your boat is based on the individual boat/engine combination, as well as how the boat is being used. Whether you want to upgrade the stock prop, or just need to replace a damaged prop, our Prop Finder guide will help you determine the perfect prop for your Year, Make, and Model boat.

Prop Left Rotation & Diameter

Rotation & Diameter

Rotation: Like bore, rotation is specific to the power train of the boat; if your boat needs a left-hand rotation propeller, you must use a left-hand rotation propeller.

Diameter: In general, a larger diameter means more surface area, which means better transmission of power from the engine to the water. Typically the diameter is limited by clearance around the prop, which is very important to check.

Prop Cup & Pitch

Cup & Pitch

Cup: is the curvature of the blade at its edge, primarily translates to the amount of load the prop will put on the motor.

Pitch: is the distance the prop would travel after making one full revolution. A lower numerical pitch number means higher engine RPMs relative to boat speed, which translates to better performance for slower speed activities.

Shaft Size Spline

Shaft Size Spline

The bore of the propeller is specific to the prop shaft that is on your boat. Shaft size is not interchangeable, you must use the correct size prop for your boat’s shaft or the prop won’t fit.

Not the right prop for Utah elevation

After speaking with two different prop specialist at WakeMakers, they convinced me that I should bet the Acme 2241. It would replace the OEM OJ 522. This is on my MC X-35 with 6.0L engine. Well, I am sorry to say that it didn't help at all, and may have actually been a downgrade in performance. This is probably due to the elevation of lakes in Utah. I later spoke with Jim at Acme and he wasn't surprised at the result and would NOT have recommended the 2241 for my needs. I also learned after-the-fact, that they have a no return policy. $639 down the drain with no solution. Lesson? Talk with Acme first. WakeMakers is too confident in its recommendations.

Perfect MC X25 Prop

I received my MasterCraft with the OJ 522 14.75" x 15.5" prop from the factory and it was not doing the job for us. Soon after we were able to use the boat I re-propped to the ACME 2241 based on information from both Bryan at Wakemakers and Jim at Acme. It is awesome and the low end performance with the stock ballast of 900 lbs, five adults and a couple kids has worth every penny. Even when I added another ballast bag in the rear locker for surfing the boat had no problems planing out. A must for owners that need more low end but do not want to see all of their top end speed disappear.

Boat: 2013 Mastercraft X25

Engine: 6.0 Ilmor

Ballast: Factory three tank (900 lbs.) + Straight Line 600 Sac with Straight Line Sumo Pump

Gen 1 Surf Tabs: N/A

Elevation: 500 to 3000 feet

Stock Prop: OJ 522 14.75" x 15.5"

Upgraded Prop: Acme 2241 15" x 14.25"
