These composite thru-hull fittings feature a stainless steel cap that covers the entire exterior, so from the outside of the boat you get the durability, hardness and style of stainless, but without paying two or three times the price. Suitable for use as a drain or vent fitting for above the waterline use, the extended length barb has plenty of surface area to create a leak-proof connection to standard 3/4", 1" or 1-1/8" ballast hose. And thanks to the smooth 90 degree bend, they fit great in tight areas, without decreasing flow.

Went for this Thru hull fitting for two reasons, 1. Look just like genuine Malibu, 2. Price. Looks awesome on boat, did have one problem with tread not long enough (or fibre glass not thick enough) I had to pack out back so would tighten up firm. 90 deg bend was handy too.

Cheep and look good
Ran 3 of these as vents for my system, Price has to be the best part on these. The 90 deg angle is handy as was able to mount nice and high in the gunnel. with hoses all hidden away.
Next time would send the extra money on the Stainless ones especially if the boat is going to see salt water.
