Attwood 1 1/8" thread to 1" hose barb adapter fitting for Attwood Tsunami 1200GPH aerator ballast pumps.

This adapter convers the proprietary 1 1/8" threaded connection on Attwood's 1200GPH Tsunami aerator wakeboard ballast pump to a 1-1/8" hose barb connection.

This fitting solves the biggest problem with the Attwood 1200GPH Tsunami pump; it allows for connection of 1-1/8" or 1" hose to the inlet thread on the pump, making it much easier to use this high capacity pump in an automated wakeboard ballast system. This elbow will also include the black O ring standard with every purchase to make a water tight connection.

Attwood pump fitting

Very thin plastic. Only reason im using it is because nothing else fits the thread of the attwood pump.

When tightened to the pump the rubber seal washer does not feel firm. I dont think the fitting will take another turn with out breaking. Im not confident of a good seal that wont leak.

Ive been working around plumbing and mobile hyraulics my whole life and this is bad engineering/design.

Attwood needs to step up their game and make their pumps with common fittings that can be bought at any hardware store.
