Every properly designed ballast system must have a ball valve attached directly to the intake fitting so that the flow of water into the boat can be stopped in the event of an emergency. During normal day-to-day operation you will never need to access this valve if your system is designed correctly (contact us for assistance), it is only used in the event of a broken fitting, hose or pump.

Constructed with a solid bronze body and stainless steel valve assembly, these ball valves are built to last a lifetime, and will not undergo galvanic corrosion like the common brass ball valves available from home improvement centers will. Features standard NPT threads for mating directly to our Thru-Hull Intake or Street Elbow fittings for easy assembly.

Top quality, marine-specific ball valve...

Many other places try to sell you non-marine hardware. But you can count on WakeMakers to find the right products for your boat. This valve is from Marine Hardware, and is made of cast bronze - not just regular brass like other valves. It also includes a grounding lug and drain screw, things that non-marine valves don't have. Trust WakeMakers to carry and ship the CORRECT components for your watercraft. I do!

Quality excellant, very durable

I bought the 1 in ball valve that connects straight from the thru hull and the connection is perfect and the quality is amazing, the shut off valve is very smooth durable, would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality shut-off valve

Solid valve, reasonable price.

Valve is a quality piece, interfaced well with brass elbow and 1 1/4 nipple connection to the manifold. Excellent flow for feeding my 1200 GPH pumps.
