The straight quick release connector has a 3/4" hose barb fitting on one side and a lockable female end on the other that will connect directly to the Fly High 3/4" Flo-Rite Quick Release Connect. Perfect for integrating Fly High ballast bags to factory ballast systems in Malibu, Supra, and Moomba wakeboard boats.

Great for integrating bags into your boat

I have Flow-Rite fittings on all four bags that I integrated into my boat. They are secure when locked into place but unlock and remove quickly and easily. Although these fittings are marketed as a Fly High product, they work on my two Straight Line sacs as well as they work on my two Fly High sacs. I use the 1 inch size on larger bags, but this 3/4 inch size if handy for a smaller add-on sac.

It takes a little heat from an electric heat gun or carefully applied with a torch to get these into 3/4 inch spiral-reinforced hose. You could then secure them with a screw-drive hose clamp, but that gives your work an amateurish look and the clamps have a sharp "tail" that likes to cut your hands and your fat sac. A better hose clamp to use is a pinch clamp like an Oetiker. You do have to buy a special pair of pliers to pinch the Oetiker clamps, but the end result is better.

I love these locking connectors

These are great locking connectors for ballast systems. I don't have to worry about them coming un-hooked, but if I ever need to take the sacs out, they unlock very easy and can quickly get all bags out of the boat.

great, quick fittings

All my bags have these fittings on them. I love them. Although they feel a little thin/cheap, they've always worked great. They allow for VERY quick and easy removal of the bags. I'll be purchasing more for my next bag soon.
