WakeMAKERS Pre-Wired Switch Connector for Reversible Ballast Pumps

Simple and error proof installation of our ballast rocker switch when using Johnson Ultra Ballast Pumps.
This is a product our customers have been requesting for more than three years, so we're thrilled to finally be able to offer it. If you're installing a Johnson Ultra Ballast Pump in your ballast system, by far the most time consuming, and error prone, aspect of the installation is actually connecting the battery power and pump to the switch.
Johnson Ballast Pump Wire Color Guide:
- Orange = Battery Positive +
- Yellow = Battery Negative -
- Red = Pump Positive +
- Black = Pump Negative -
Jabsco Ballast Pump Wire Color Guide:
- Red = Battery Positive +
- Yellow = Battery Negative -
- Orange = Pump Positive +
- Black = Pump Negative -
Our pre-wired switch connector reduces that task from a major source of frustration that can take up to an hour, down to a simple plug-and-play connection that only takes five minutes. And best of all, because each connection is pre-terminated in a keyed connector, the chances of connecting the wrong wire and causing damage, or limiting the performance of your pump is virtually eliminated. Now just connect battery positive and ground to two of the wires in the pigtail, and connect power and ground to the pump to the other two wires and you're done. Save yourself the time and hassle, and know your ballast system will be wired correctly with this incredibly convenient upgrade.
NOTE: If you're installing a Jabsco Ballast Puppy Pump a pre-wired switch will be included in the box, so this item is not necessary.

This is awesome, but buy the whole wiring kit instead!
This is a great product, but buy the whole wiring kit instead to save money. I had some pieces laying around I could use... I thought. Lets add it up. $20 for this, $12 for the switch, $6 for the cover, 4x $20 for the Deutsch connectors, pins, plugs, $40 for 80' of 12awg of hookup wire from Radio Shack, $5 for a fuse holder and fuse.... That is >$40 over the Wakemakers price for a plug and play kit. Folks, leverage the low pricing on volumes. Because you can't easily do better buying just what you need.

Made it easy
This is why I love wakemakers. I asked how hard it was to install a ballast system and Bryan was able to point me in the direction of this product. I feared the wiring but with this switch connector and their video it was so easy. Haven't had any electrical problems to this day. I am happy.
