If you need to replace the hose that came on your Sumo Max Flow pump this complete assembly makes the job quick and simple.
Includes a replacement hose that is the same length as the original, along with a replacement clamp to secure the hose to the discharge port on the pump.
I am currently using a Sumo Max Flow 4250 pump on my boat. It's the second one I've bought. Love the pump but the hose has failed two seasons and two pumps in two years. It is clearly the weakest link in an otherwise impressive pump system. Sumo: Please fix it!
We love the pump, hate the hose. Just bought a new replacement hose last year, late in season. It was out of stock and arrived before thanksgiving, after the season ended.
So this year, we've used it 24 times. I know. We are very careful with it and put it up gently. It sprang a leak right near the fill nozzell. That small rip, before we could get a duck tape roll, busted out the entire opening and made the pump and hose instantly useless.
I wish the ends were reinforced even more. they are molded into the fill shape sleeve which is difficult to repair. At best several metal band straps might help after you repair a hose rip.
