Use the same switch Supra, Moomba, Malibu, Mastercraft, Tige and many others install at the factory for your custom wakeboard ballast project. This OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) illuminated 3-way rocker switch has positions for fill, off and drain.
Illuminated with red LEDs indicators when filling or draining, this switch makes the perfect control for any new or existing ballast system, and looks like it came from the factory in the boat (in many cases it would have).
Available now are our custom made switch covers available for every ballast location in the boat.Add one or more with the correct label for your application to have a complete fully functional switch (the switch body does not include a cover, so you will need to buy one of the covers listed below for each switch body you purchase).
Compatible with nearly any wakeboard ballast pump, including two aerator pumps for filling and draining, or one reversible impeller pump for the ultimate in flexibility.Wiring diagram is included with each switch for easy hookup, and wiring components, including connectors, and wire are available separately (see recommended accessories).
Installation
Here are some of the more common installation diagrams for circuits this switch is capable of supporting:
Ordered and still waiting for cover plate
High-quality switch but the diagram was a little confusing, the "cross" between the 2 of the 7 terminals is not internal as I thought. If I was to do it again I would have ordered the piece that Wakemakers makes that plugs into the back to simplify wiring.
If you are using this switch for a reversible pump you have to make the jumpers to change polarity on the back side of the switch. I interpreted the dotted line in the diagram an internal connection, this is not the case. After a conversation with the wakemakers team and them directing me to a pre-wired switch connector I discovered this. Not hard to do and still makes a sweet set-up, just wish the diagram was clearly marked.
The switch works great. However I had some wiring issues to figure out and I had to remove the connectors a few times. Use a needle nose pliers and be careful. I was not and broke off the metal tan connector and had to get a new one.
