For many Mastercraft models, the swim platform brackets do not provide enough clearance for the tabs used in the Go Surf Assist system to retract fully without making contact with the underside of the swim platform or the brackets themselves. That's where these replacement brackets come into play; they will provide an additional 4" of clearance for Go Surf Assist tabs. They also have the added benefit of raising the platform of a fully ballasted boat out of the water, and also will raise the platform so that it doesn't interfere with the wave (which is an issue on some Mastercraft models).
Which style should you get?
There are four different styles of swim platform brackets available to match the existing brackets that are on your boat. You will need to confirm which brackets you have on your boat and order the same style:

These swim platform brackets are made from T6061 Aluminum that is precision machined to be a direct replacement for the brackets that came on your boat and are finished in a hard anodized finish for durability.
After adding a lot of ballast to my nxt22 the swim platform was dragging in the water affecting the wave. Raising the platform really cleaned up my wave!! Only down side more difficulty climbing on when the ballast tanks are empty. Worth every penny!!!
