Why Change It?

This is a regular maintenance item that is used in order to keep the engine cool, failure of this part can lead to engine overheating codes or worse.

Keep a Spare

It is a good rule of thumb to keep the tools and parts on hand in the boat as a backup just in case you find yourself with an impeller failure. This is the simple, cheap part that can ruin a holiday weekend and having a spare will make you the real hero of the boating holiday.

Maintenance

Please check your engine manufacturer's owner's manual for for the suggested interval for servicing your raw water pump impeller. It is a good rule of thumb to change the raw water pump on a yearly basis or when you reach the 100hr service interval, whichever comes first.

Like the front wing, the size your back wing impacts stability, agility and speed. Smaller back wings will create less drag, allowing riders to achieve faster turns and speeds, while a larger back wing will provide more stability in the wave.

Choosing Your Lift4 Front Wing

Larger wings (>200) provide more stability for easier recovery from mistakes without affecting ride or lift. They are ideal for beginners and riders seeking a smoother experience. Smaller wings (100-170) offer greater agility but are less forgiving for new riders. Additionally, the efficiency of the wing affects speed - High Aspect Wings have lower drag, allowing for higher speeds. Smaller wings also contribute to speed due to their lower drag, while larger area wings are designed for slower rides, accommodating heavier riders, and are more manageable for beginners.

O'Neill Nytrolite Foam Technology

Low Density Polyethylene which is expanded using Nitrogen in an exclusive process. The Nytrolite foam is 3 times lighter than regular PVC foam and absorbs 15 to 20% less water due to the closed cell foam structure. The foam is 10% more buoyant than PVC meaning O'Neill can use less in each vest and achieve the same flotation.

Choosing Correct Outside Fin

Ronix offers asymmetrical fins in their Fin-S line. You can use the diagram provided to determine if you need a left or right fin based on the actual fin(s) you are looking for.

Versatile, High Volume Connection Options

The unique design of the pump head features integrated hose barbs for use with 1" hose - just slide the hose over the bronze inlet and outlet ports and secure with hose clamps.

Additionally, 1/2" NPT female threaded connections are available for use with 3/4" hose using a 1/2" thread to 3/4" hose barb adapter (sold separately).

For fastest fill and drain times we recommend using 1" hose.

Controller

An ergonomic, waterproof bluetooth controller that easily shows battery life, and allows you to swap quickly and intuitively between a multitude of speed and performance settings. Want to stop while on board? Just release the trigger. For added safety, as soon as the controller hits the water or if the board tilts past 45 degrees, the propulsion automatically stops.

Ripflow Wave Technology

The geometry of the MISSION DELTA 2.0 creates proven results. RipFlow technology helps clean up the wave by inducing more turbulence than solid faceplate shapers. RipFlow also makes it easier to navigate your boat at slower speeds when the surf device is mounted to it.

Reversible Orientation

The DELTA features a proprietary reversible design that offers versatility for attaching to the boat’s ‘sweet spot’ and optimizing surf wave performance. Normal orientation is used most of the time, especially for v-drive boats filled with a good amount of ballast. The reversed orientation works great for direct-drive inboard boats or complex boat hulls that require the wakesurf device to be attached higher, such as MasterCraft X2’s or X45’s.

Small Is The New Big

Bigger is not always better. Lots of other wakesurf devices hype up that size matters and that a bigger size results in a bigger wave. That is a common myth though in today’s world of wakesurfing.

All Eight.3 Telescope Tech ballast bags use 1” ports. To fill the bag, there is a 1.5” fill port that is only compatible with Eight.3’s Telescope Ballast Pump. To drain the bag, the pump is dropped into the bag by opening the telescoping chamber.

¾” Port Size

All Fly High FATSAC ballast bags use 3/4" ports. Designed to filled/drained with the Supa Tsunami Pump for faster fill/drain times.

The 4 inch thickness provides maximum stability and rigidity once inflated. An integrated handle on each corner makes it easy to lift and carry the REEF mat.

Rotation & Diameter

Rotation: Like bore, rotation is specific to the power train of the boat; if your boat needs a left-hand rotation propeller, you must use a left-hand rotation propeller.

Diameter: In general, a larger diameter means more surface area, which means better transmission of power from the engine to the water. Typically the diameter is limited by clearance around the prop, which is very important to check.

Shaft Size Measurement

Shaft: If keyed measure the circumference of the prop shaft. Do the measurement in the middle of the prop shaft as it tapers as it gets closer to the propeller.

Five Fins

All about options. With this setup you no longer need to choose between a twin, thruster, or quad because they are all possible. We don’t recommend riding with all five fins as it will cause significant drag and slow the board.

Bat Tail

Similar to a swallow the bat tail will help you engage the rail into the wake giving you a nice bit of grip when turning and help with forward drive.

Diamond Tail

Similar surface area compared to round tails keep this shape high and maneuverable. The angle created at the rear part of the rail releases water for a faster overall feel.

Half Moon Tail

The Half Moon will give you the hold and drive when moving forward but has great release when coming into your maneuver to really push the tail above the lip.

Pin Tail

The pin tail has the narrowest width of all tail shapes, which results in a directional surf, and maximum water flow. This tail design holds tight in the face of the wave and minimizes lift.

Round Tail

The all-around performance shape. Water is able to wrap around the curve of the round tail increasing traction, and the larger surface area keeps the board high on the water for maneuverability.

Square Tail

The square tail is a high-volume tail shape that will plane fast across the water while offering a lot of stability. It's a great shape that will react fast in short, tight turns.

Squash Tail

The squash tail is a versatile shape that delivers a comfortable and balanced feel regarding stability and maneuverability because it combines the benefits of the square and round tails.

Swallow Tail

Swallow tails increase the turning arcs in boards that have a wider tail shape. Width in the tail adds to push and stability and is balanced by the mobility in the swallow shape.

Straight Line Sumo Seams

Every Sumo sac is double welded to ensure a watertight seal. The tough Sumo Skin is overlapped and hot air welded. You can see the smooth and clean seams on the outside of every bag, and a second welding operation applies an inch wide sealing tape to the inside of every seam.
