The ACME 515 3 Blade Propeller is nothing like 3 blade propellers of the past. Prior to 1999, wakeboard and ski boat propellers were cast from molds, a process that offered little precision and had severe limitations for the size and shape of the blades. The result was inefficient props with small blade surface area and poor balance which caused vibration in the boat drive line.
All this changed when ACME revolutionized the manufacturing process by implementing CNC machining. Precision machining of its wakeboard and waterski boat propellers allows ACME to hold tolerances and achieve accuracies never before seen in the propeller industry. Which results in larger surface area props that are more efficient and perfectly balanced for silky smooth operation.
What does that mean for you? The new ACME 3 blade propellers are now capable of providing you with the same holeshot and top end performance that many 4 blade propellers deliver. Whether you want to make your old ski boat feel like new or improve the performance of your new wakeboard boat, the ACME 515 3 Blade Propeller will get the job done.
Finding the right prop for your boat is based on the individual boat/engine combination, as well as how the boat is being used. Whether you want to upgrade the stock prop, or just need to replace a damaged prop, our Prop Finder guide will help you determine the perfect prop for your Year, Make, and Model boat.
Rotation: Like bore, rotation is specific to the power train of the boat; if your boat needs a left-hand rotation propeller, you must use a left-hand rotation propeller.
Diameter: In general, a larger diameter means more surface area, which means better transmission of power from the engine to the water. Typically the diameter is limited by clearance around the prop, which is very important to check.

Cup: is the curvature of the blade at its edge, primarily translates to the amount of load the prop will put on the motor.
Pitch: is the distance the prop would travel after making one full revolution. A lower numerical pitch number means higher engine RPMs relative to boat speed, which translates to better performance for slower speed activities.

The bore of the propeller is specific to the prop shaft that is on your boat. Shaft size is not interchangeable, you must use the correct size prop for your boat’s shaft or the prop won’t fit.
Keyed: Measure the circumference of the prop shaft. Do the measurement in the middle of the prop shaft as it tapers as it gets closer to the propeller. Then use this formula to find the diameter. (diameter = circumference / 3.14)
Never again worry if the propeller you buy is going to deliver the performance you need. Think of our Performance Protection Plan as a guarantee that the propeller you purchased will provide the desired performance. If it does not do what you want, simply exchange it for a different model.

Had the original OJ 13x13 and changed up to this prop more out of curiosity... wow, much quicker to plane without sacrificing any top end. Definitely made a difference, more responsive to throttle inputs. Had a slight high vibration with the OJ, this prop is very smooth. I’m mostly a skier and footer. Works fine for wake boarding. Haven’t weighed down the boat yet but I suspect it’ll be fine.
Own a 95 Tige 2000SLM comp (265 HP Mercruiser V8, Chevy). This is the second ACME 515 prop. These props are way better than stock. Holeshot is excellent and absolutely no vibration. The one negative comment I provide is that due to Nibral and CNC construction, the prop is damaged easily. Any "hard" object will bend blades resulting in lots of vibration. However, the prop is easily repaired by a reputable propman that has ACME shape blocks. I now have a spare ACME 515!
Replacement prop for my Malibu Response LXI. Rebuilt props just did not operate without some vibration. This one is perfect, smooth as silk.
Dinged up prop the week before vacation. Called Wakemakers on Monday had prop by Wednesday. The guy I spoke to was very knowlegeable and helped me choose the correct prop for my Malibu Wakesetter.
Thank you
