Connelly's premiere hybrid design, the Benz is a high-performance wakesurf board that provides equal parts skim and surf style characteristics. At first glance, its outline closely resembles a skim style board. Look closer and you'll notice the more rounded surf style rails and surf fins that give it that surfy feeling too. Designed with speed and maneuverability in mind, put your foot on the gas pedal and marvel at the sports car like handling of the Benz.
Built with an EPS foam core and epoxy construction, the Benz wakesurf board is lightweight and ultra responsive on the water. The vector net carbon weave adds rigidity to the board and makes for a stronger flex pattern in the tail area. The wider profile provides lots of stability while the flat base and minimal rocker makes it fast. Its quick acceleration allows you to get back on the wave and boost forward for big airs, spins, and carves.
The Benz comes equipped with three fins but there are two different fin configurations you'll want to choose from based on your riding style. Ride with the single 1" center skim fin for riders that want a looser skim feel ideal for spins and tricks. Pop in the twin 3.1" surf fins into the tool-less fin boxes for a ride with more "bite" into the wave and more grippy surf style turns.
You know it's good because the Benz is the longest running epoxy surfer in the Connelly lineup. While many shapes come and go, the Connelly Benz continues to be a hit with wakesurfers year in and year out.
