The Fly High Check Valve Quick Twist Adapter is an optional upgrade for Fly High Pro X Series ballast bags that replaces the standard Quick Twist Adapter. Just as easy to connect and disconnect as the standard fitting, the W744 Check Valve adapter also features an integrated check to prevent water from exiting the bag when disconnecting and connecting the pump for filling or draining.
Don't worry about water shooting back into the boat when you disconnect your Fly High Tsunami pump. Fill the sac normally using the twist connect system. When it is time to drain connect the included fitting on your pump to push through the rubber diaphragm and allow the water to come out.
If you want to keep your boat as dry as possible, this fitting is definitely for you, just remember that you'll need one for each ballast bag.

Bought these valves for sacs on each side of direct drive. Easy to use and I' m able to fill the sacs all the way now. Just untwist the pump and your good to go. Gone are the days of untwisting the connection and water spraying out, while your trying to cap it. Highly recommend

I bought two of these (one for each sack). The issue is, with these connected, the water pressure rotates the connection off (even if I pre-torque the connection), causing water to spray everywhere in the boat until you disconnect the pump or reconnect the hose... They work ok if you hold the connection tight, but that's a lot of holding. Not sure why these won't lock on. I've double checked all connections and gaskets/washers.... and tried removing the excess grease from the fitting, but no luck. At $40/ea, I'd expect these to seal better.
If you like to keep your boat nice and dry we're adding tons of water weight this is the valve for you
Works well if you fill bags using the pump. I will buy one for each sack I purchase to avoid spills.
No problem with water spills on fill and empty and the hose stays connected if you contort the hose correct like the other fittings. Also with the check valve it sucks the bag flat with very little water left to dump over the side.
