During the R&D process, the team at Eight.3 discovered that a wakesurf device’s performance can be measured by the amount of water it moves. To measure the deflection area, one must calculate the surface area of the surf device and the angle of it. The Eight.3 Blade Wakesurf Shaper was tested and found to deflect well over twice the amount of water than the “other suction cup guys” on the market today. The results: a cleaner, taller, wider wave for more fun on the water!

The Eight.3 Blade Wakesurf Shaper will not work on many MasterCraft boats. The larger faceplate can’t fit the contours of the hull. Check the listed dimensions above for compatibility.
Replacement warranty product broke again...3rd time out. This time the handle snapped. I am so confused by Ronix right now. Have been a die hard Ronix fanboy. They completly missed the mark on this one. Not even bothering with a replacement, way too frustrating.
Broke the handle on the first one, broke the wedge where it connects on the second one I received under warranty. Very poorly designed product.
2004 Air Nautique, Third boat day on the water, installed Ronix wakeshaper on side of boat, at 9.8 mph, the plate separated from handle, and when I retrieved plate, notice that the locking system for plate to handle had broken. Noticed with the reviews this is a VERY common problem, I am currently trying to get this warranty and a refund. Very Disappointed with the Ronix Eight.3 wakeshaper

We've had this wake shaper for two weeks. Wave was good but its built super flimsy. Like the other reviews stated, it brakes at the connection point. Ronix has always been a reliable company, disappointed they let such a bad product make it into their line. Don't waste your money.
Broke with in a couple days of using it. Ronix has been quality company but this product is crap
