The Eight.3 Ronix Telescope Trapezoid 400lb Ballast Bag is designed to fit in the rear compartment of any v-drive boat, and also works great for building a massive wake on the floor of any direct-drive boat. The versatile back fits just about anywhere thanks to its size and shape. The width of the bag tapers from being the widest at the bottom to create a trapezoidal shape, which Ronix coined “anti-roll” technology; This means no more monitoring your bags. Just fill them and leave them. Ronix rethought and redesigned nearly every aspect of the wakeboard ballast bag.
Using the Eight.3 Ronix Telescope System is easy. Fill and drain your new Ronix Telescope bags in a fraction of the time that you're used to with the 3000 GPH or 3700 GPH portable pump options.
Filling
To fill, simply connect the male fitting on the end of the hose to the quick fill port on the top of the bag. Don't worry about spilling any water as there's a built-in check valve to eliminate spills even when the bag is overfilled.
Draining
To drain, open the telescoping drain tube. Place the pump body into the bag, and the hose end over the edge of the boat. Once your hose is over the edge, turn the pump on to begin draining.
Construction
By sourcing a high strength vinyl material, Eight.3 has some of the strongest ballast bag on the market. All seams and inserts are sonic welded to maintain the highest structural integrity.

1” Port Size
All Eight.3 Telescope Tech ballast bags use 1” ports. To fill the bag, there is a 1.5” fill port that is only compatible with Eight.3’s Telescope Ballast Pump. To drain the bag, the pump is dropped into the bag by opening the telescoping chamber.
Portable Ballast Solution
These ballast bags are designed to be used as a portable ballast system in conjunction with a Portable Ballast Pump. This bag does have integration compatibility but is not designed to fit in any boat lockers.

Quality has gone downhill
I've got several of these bags and the pump system works pretty well but if you are loading multiple bags at once I would get 2 pumps.. the plug gets so hot it smells like its burning after 2 bags. Secondly, the bags themselves have flaps that help hold down the telescoping part of the bags which are held down by velcro... every piece of velcro has fallen off my bags and trying to regale them is a pain- clearly weren't attached sufficiently to begin with. attaching a picture but have multiple bags with the same issue. this system is a great idea- pumps are super fast and bag design is great- just seem to have skimped on the quality of the parts.
